이스라엘이 발사한 로켓이  레바논 떨어진 후

8일 레바논 북부에서 이스라엘로 최소한 3발의 로켓이 발사됐다고, 이스라엘 경찰이 밝혔습니다. 이스라엘의 가자 지구에 대한 공격도 13일째 계속됐습니다.

경찰에 따르면 로켓은 레바논 접경 나하리야 마을에 떨어졌으며, 주민 2명이 가벼운 부상을 입었습니다. 이스라엘 군은 로켓이 발사된 곳에 응사했다고 밝혔습니다.

푸아드 시니오라 레바논 총리는 로켓 공격과 이스라엘 군의 대응을 모두 비난했습니다. 이스라엘 정부 관리들은 레바논 내 무장단체인 헤즈볼라가 아니라, 팔레스타인 분리주의 그룹이 로켓을 발사한 것으로 보고 있습니다.

한편 '적십자'는 이스라엘 군이 가자 지구 내 부상자에 대한 지원을 지연시킴으로써, 국제인권법에 의한 의무 이행에 실패했다고 주장했습니다.

적십자는 가자 시 내 자이툰 지구에 여러 날 동안 구조인력을 파견할 수 없었다고 말했습니다. 적십자는 또 7일 현지에 들어가보니, 한 집에서는 4명의 어린이가 죽은 어머니 옆에 누워있었고, 시체 12구가 침대에 그대로 방치된 집도 있었다며 참상을 전했습니다.

At least three rockets were fired into northern Israel from Lebanon -- on the 13th day of Israel's offensive against Hamas in Gaza.

Officials say the rockets fell today (Thursday) in and around the town of Nahariya, in northern Israel, slightly wounding two people. Israel returned fire.

Lebanese Prime Minister Fuad Siniora condemned both actions. No one has claimed responsibility for the rockets, but Israeli officials suggested a Palestinian splinter group in Lebanon may have carried out the attack -- not the militant group, Hezbollah.

Also today, the International Committee of the Red Cross accused the Israeli military of failing to meet its obligations under international humanitarian law, delaying efforts to help the wounded in Gaza.

The group says a rescue team was refused access to Gaza City's beleaguered Zaytun neighborhood for days. When Israeli forces finally allowed them in Wednesday, the Red Cross says rescuers found four small children, too weak to stand, next to their dead mothers. The group says in that one house, there were at least 12 corpses lying on mattresses.
