Deputy Director of USIP's Rule of Law program Colette Rausch and Vivienne O'Connor of the Irish Centre for Human Rights presented the Model Codes Project at a side event of the United Nations Commission on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice in Vienna, Austria, on April 26, 2006.

The side-event was titled "Tools to Assess and Assist the Rule of Law and Criminal Justice Reform." Presenters included members of the UN Department of Peacekeeping Operations, the UN Office on Drugs and Crime and the UN Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights.

Panelists at the event discussed projects and work in the areas of Rule of Law and Criminal Justice Reform.
