Dear Colleague:

Enclosed you will find the OCSE 23rd Annual Report to Congress which provides information on the progress and accomplishments of the Child Support Enforcement (CSE) Program for fiscal year (FY) 1998.

In FY 1998, States were able to:

Program expenditures for FY 1998 were $3.6 billion.

This report also contains selected State-by-state financial and program data obtained from Federal reports completed by State Child Support Enforcement agencies and a series of graphs and tables presenting financial and statistical information for fiscal years 1994 through 1998.
