The purpose of the FCR IGD is to provide Child Support Enforcement agencies with information on the technical aspects of establishing and maintaining the interfaces needed between their statewide automated systems and the FCR. This version includes all FCR release specifications and updates through FPLS Release 08-01. |

Technical Assistance Guide (TAG), Release 4.0

The purpose of the FCR TAG is to provide a suggested blueprint to be used by state
technical staff to code for: the extraction of data from the State Case Registry for transmission to the FCR; and the receipt
of data from the FCR and integration of that data into the state's system to facilitate interstate locate and
enforcement activities.
This update consolidates many of the practices being applied in states that were collected by the StateTechnical
Support team during multistate conference calls and on-site technical support visits with states. This update
provides suggestions on how a state may interact most effectively with the FCR, including
FPLS Release 01-01 and 02-01. Part 7 offers automated solutions that maximize use of automated processes and
minimize worker involvement.
