ROCI is a three week course designed to train Reserve Officer Candidates to serve effectively as junior officers in the U.S. Coast Guard Ready Reserve. Enlisted and non-prior service candidates are required to attend ROCI before commissioning. Topics include: Military Indoctrination, Coast Guard History Overview, Coast Guard Roles and Missions, Coast Guard Organization, Readiness, Reserve Personnel Management, The Military Justice System and Leadership.
