Nimrod Lake shoreline.Shoreline Management

The United States Army Corps of Engineers manages 24,839 acres of land and water on and around Nimrod Lake. The boundary between government land and private property is marked with survey monuments set at ground level. A five foot white steel post is driven into the ground approximately one foot from each marker to aid in locating the marker. Trees along the boundary line are marked with a 4 inch white band to aid in locating the line. The trees, however, are off the line and are used only to show that the line is nearby. Park Rangers are available to assist in precise location of the boundary line.

Private, exclusive use of the shoreline are at Nimrod Lake is not permitted.
