   You may want to check out the guys at Twit.tv, they’re tech experts out of California that talk about technology.

   When they started podcasting they had very low tech gear but their shows sounded pretty good. I know they wrote about it and periodically talk about podcasting latest and greatest techniques. And, no, I have no affiliation with them. I’m an east coast guy but I always recommend checking them out, they’re fantastic.
