Welcome to the Academy Stores

From time to time we will be updating this website to provide pertinent information with regard to certain events and activities at the Academy Stores, not only for the cadets but for their parents as well. The Academy Stores (USMA Bookstore and Cadet Store) are part of the Directorate of Cadet Activities. Revenues generated by the Academy Stores go to support the Corps of Cadets’ clubs and activities.


The USMA Bookstore Located on the 4th floor of Thayer Hall Normal hours of operation are: M-F 0800-1600 The USMA Bookstore is our Military Academy’s “College Bookstore” with the exception of textbooks. At USMA the textbooks are issued to the cadets by the Department of Logistics. Our book department carries thousands of books on various topics including children's books. One can find all the current bestsellers and new titles as well as the old and classic titles. The bookstore also has an extensive military collection. The bookstore carries computer hardware and software, school supplies, general gifts and insignia, greeting cards and pre-packaged snacks and bottled sodas and fruit juices to nourish our cadets during class breaks! Special events at the USMA Bookstore: Booksignings are scheduled throughout the year with prominent authors of interest to both cadets, faculty and staff. Cadet Store Located in the rear of building 606 Normal hours of operation are: M-F 0800-1600 Our mission at the Cadet Store is to support the cadets’ professional and military, cultural, social and extracurricular lifestyle at USMA. Cadets may find merchandise from top brand name clothing, shoes, diamond Jewelry and Mikimoto pearls, Waterford crystal, Tag Heuer watches (to name a few ) to Timex watches, gifts, school supplies, health and beauty aid, contact lenses, cleaning supplies and of course pre-packaged food, candy, soda and fruit drinks. Cadets can also purchase to replace most issue items of clothing at the Cadet Store. Class rings, graduation invitations and announcements and diploma frames are offered through the Cadet Store. PARENTS OF FIRSTIES (Class of 2009) • Popular purchases by parents for their graduating cadets are: Red Sash & Belt; Saber, Saber Display Case, Engraving Plaque for the Display Case, Diploma and Commission Frames. Please call the Cadet Store for more information and availability of Res Sash. (VISA/MC) ALL USMA CADETS' PARENTS! • Care packages are now available year round.
