NACA Seal
Full Description
This is the official seal for the National Advisory Committee for
Aeronautics (NACA) which was established by an act of Congress in
March 1915. The seal depicts the first human-controlled, powered flight
made by the Wright brothers in December 1903 at Kitty Hawk, North Carolina.
NACA was later incorporated into the National Aeronautics and Space
Administration (NASA) in 1958.
