Volunteer Program

The Corps of Engineers at Sam Rayburn Reservoir offers many volunteer opportunities in recreation and natural resource management. We are the stewards of more than 7,000 acres of land and 114,500 acres of water held in the public trust. You can make a difference by helping to ensure the wise use of these precious resources today and their conservation for tomorrow.

We need your help! As a volunteer, you can:

  • Work outdoors
  • Meet new people
  • Learn alongside knowledgeable professionals
  • achieve a proud sense of contributing to the future of the nation
  • Plus, it's just plain fun!
