In order to continue to provide the public with high-quality recreation opportunities despite diminishing budgets and resources, many of the parks around Lewisville have been leased to local municipalities. Those parks still managed on a day-to-day basis by the Corps of Engineers continue to provide the nation with safe, affordable recreation.
