There are no developed group camping areas run by the Corps on Lewisville Lake.

The only undeveloped area on Lewisville Lake for campers is in the closed section of Sycamore Bend. This area is available to non-profit groups (scout troops, for example) by permit only. Please contact the project office (469) 645-9100 to inquire about a permit for your chosen date.

This area has no water or restrooms. There are old campsites with some fire rings and picnic tables. It is recommended that campers bring a weedeater to clean-up around the sites. A key is required for access to the area and may be picked-up at the project office in Lewisville the work day before your event.
