Ethnic Community Self-Help
The Ethnic Community Self-Help Program provides assistance to refugee community based organizations to develop the capacity to serve as local service providers and as a bridge to mainstream services and resources.
These organizations help the refugee communities to become contributing partners to refugee resettlement and the community overall. Currently there are 45 grantees, funded at at total of $7.2 million in FY 2006.
