Iraqi politics have appeared deadlocked for a long time. This week, the Iraqi Parliament approved important legislation. Does this portend a new, more productive phase in Iraqi politics? Or will things get stuck again because of sectarian and ethnic division? Fresh from dozens of interviews with Iraqi political leaders, Rend al-Rahim and Daniel Serwer will discuss new developments on the Iraqi political scene, while Jason Gluck will draw upon his recent work with Iraqi parliamentarians to help frame these legislative accomplishments in the broader political landscape.
