November 2008: U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services is pleased to announce the availability of the Civics Flash Cards and Learn About the United States: Quick Civics Lessons for the new naturalization test. Beginning in January 2009, all past and new recipients of the Civics and Citizenship Toolkit will automatically receive a supplemental mailing with copies of both publications free of charge. The Civics and Citizenship Toolkit  is available to all immigrant-serving organizations. The Civics and Citizenship Toolkit  was originally designed for public libraries, but due to great demand, it is now available to other organizations as well. Immigrant-serving organizations can register here to receive one free copy of the Civics and Citizenship Toolkit.*

The Civics and Citizenship Toolkit is an initiative of the Task Force on New Americans, a federal partnership created to strengthen the efforts of federal, state, and local agencies in providing immigrants the information they need to embrace the common core of American civic culture, learn English, and fully become American.
