This area is located by the Joe Pool Lake Office Building off of F.M. 1382 in Dallas, Texas. The Visitor's Overlook gives visitors the chance to get a view of the lake. This park consists of a restroom and trail heads. The trail head gives visitors a chance to take a walk across the top of the Joe Pool Lake Dam. This Scenic trail is approximately 7.8 miles round trip or 3.9 miles one way. From the trail visitors can see the Outlet Works and the Spillway structures.
