Catalog Cards

After 95 years of providing catalog cards to the library community, the Library of Congress discontinued its MARC catalog card service effective March 1, 1997.

We provide a list of alternative commercial suppliers of MARC catalog cards. This list offers the names and addresses of firms that responded to an announcement placed by the Library of Congress in the Commerce Business Daily. The Library is not able to evaluate or endorse the specific firms or their products and services, but we hope that the information will be useful to you in finding an alternative source.

CDS apologizes for any inconvenience that the discontinuance of the catalog card service may cause. If you have any questions, please contact CDS Customer Services.
