1) What are the hours of operation for the park gate houses and the U.S Army Corps of Engineers main office at Canyon Lake?

At our parks the, the Gates houses are open for business at 07:30 am and they close at 10:00 pm; however, Comal Park and Canyon Beach and the Overlook park closes at sunset. The main office hours are from 0800am until 4:30pm, Monday thru Friday.

2) Do you have wireless internet at Potters Creek Park?

We do not have wireless internet capabilities at any of our Park facilities.

3) Is there a current burn ban in effect for Comal County? Can we have a fire at our campsite?

Currently we are under a burn ban due to a severe drought. As such we are no longer allowing fires in the fire rings but it is okay to have a fire in a covered grill ONLY!

5) Do all the parks have BBQ grills?

No, Craines Mill, Canyon Park and North Park does not have grills but it is ok to bring your own.

4) Can I have a fire arm in the park?

A concealed handgun permit is not valid on Federal property nor is the possession of a fire arm of any kind permitted in the parks.

5) Can I fish on the lake from the shoreline?

Yes you can go fishing but it does require a state fishing license.
