About Program Acquisition and Contingency Contracting

Program Acquisition and Contingency Contracting is responsible for several key areas supporting Defense Procurement. These areas include program acquisition strategies, program execution, contract incentives, contingency contracting and acquisition policy. PA&CC works closely with major defense acquisition programs, including services programs, to ensure that they are fully compliant with, and supportive of, Department goals, guidance, policies, regulations and instructions as well as Congressional initiatives. PA&CC works with government and industry acquisition organizations to further the defense objectives of our Nation. PA&CC works to ensure that the Department's best interests are served in the most efficient and cost effective manner possible and that we give our women and men defending our freedoms all possible support and every possible advantage.
