Methodist Cove Park

Methodist Cove park is located on a black top road near the west end of the lake, approximately 2 miles east of Alma, Nebraska. 155 campsites and two group areas are available. 49 campsites offer electrical hookups. One large heated shower with flush toilets is centrally located within the park and several vault toilets are located throughout the rest of the park. Potable water, a dump station, and refuse containers are located near the park entrance. Gate Attendants are stationed at the entrance to the park and are on duty to help you, our visitors, whether it is to help with your camping needs or to answer questions.

Most sites are reservable through the National Recreation Reservation Service, camp sites which are not reserved can be rented on first come first served basis. A boat ramp is located at the west end of the park and may be used free of charge with the paid camping fee, or $3.00/day for non campers

The main road is hard surfaced, with others being gravel. One centrally located playground is available and a fish cleaning station, with grinder and running water is located near the entrance.
