Hunter Cove Park

Hunter Cove Park is located on a hard surfaced road on the eastern end of the lake. There are 160 total sites, 84 are electrical. Potable water, a dump station, and refuse containers are available at a central location near the entrance of the park. Many sites are reservable through the National Recreation Reservation Service, camp sites which are not reserved can be rented on first come first served basis. A boat ramp is located at the west end of the park and may be used free of charge with the paid camping fee, or $3/day for non campers. Gate Attendants are stationed at the entrance to the park, and are on duty through the recreation season to help you, our visitors, whether it is with your camping needs or to answer questions.

Hunter Cove Park offers two enclosed shower buildings with flush toilets (one is heated). Laundry facilities are also available. There are two playgrounds, one on each end of the park, as well as a volley ball court. This park offers two open picnic shelters for small groups or for picnicking during inclement weather.

The main road is hard surfaced, with others being gravel. A fish cleaning station, with grinder and running water is located near the entrance.
