Free band concerts and family fun days at the Chittenden Locks this summer

SEATTLE--Bring the family out to the Hiram M. Chittenden Locks in Ballard this summer and enjoy free band concerts and family fun days.
Local groups will bring their sounds to the lawn at the Locks from 2-3 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday afternoons for your listening pleasure.
Concerts or fun days will be held every weekend June 5 through Aug. 28. The series of free concerts offered at the Locks are a regular summer feature. A variety of music is featured at the outdoor events: jazz, show tunes, and more.
The staff at the Locks also sponsors Family Fun Days, offering a variety of displays and activities. Events include Wildlife Day June 13 and Aug. 21, the Greater Seattle Fuchsia Show July 31 and Aug. 1, and Scandinavian Day Aug. 22.
