Event Details:
This international aviation event celebrates aviation heritage & history. The Yankee Air Museum sponsors this annual event and prides its operation on recovering, restoring and preserving U.S. Armed Forces aircraft and artifacts. Strong focus is given to the participation of military recruiters of all armed forces. Armed forces recruiters are present and play an active role in the event.This event is the major vintage aircraft event in the Midwest and Eastern region of the U.S. Along with great attendance since 1999, this event draws positive exposure to our Nation's Armed Forces and is one of the most written about and published aviation events in the country.  In 2009 we will be celebrating our 11th annual air display with a unique salute to the 55th Anniversary of the C-130 Hercules.
