The Chicago Travel Itinerary was produced by the National Park Service, U.S. Department of the Interior, in cooperation with the National Conference of State Historic Preservation Officers (NCSHPO). It was created under the direction of Carol Shull, Keeper of the National Register of Historic Places, National Park Service, and Edson Beall, NPS, and is based on information in the files of the National Register. These materials are kept at 800 N. Capitol Street, NW, in Washington, open from 8:00am to 12:00pm and from 1:00pm to 4:00pm, Monday through Friday, except federal holidays.

Property descriptions were written by Alexis Abernathy, Sarah Dillard-Pope, Mary McCutchan, and Rustin Quaide of NCSHPO. The guide was designed by Bill Wright with the assistance of Kathleen Madigan, both of NCSHPO.
