School and Youth Programs-fully engaged learning

How would you like to have a rippling creek in your classroom? Or a quiet aspen forest? How about a network of snowshoe hare trails? Or a winter wonderland filled with ravens’ calls?

Discover all this and more when you bring your students to the Campbell Creek Science Center. LocTop view of students examining aquatic bugs in a trayated on the BLM's Campbell Tract, the Science Center offers students the opportunity to experience the wonders of an outdoor classroom.

Our talented and enthusiastic staff are experienced outdoor leaders. They are trained in inclusive education techniques to ensure that all students, regardless of ability, are fully involved in the learning process. They are happy to tailor a program to meet the needs of your students. Just choose from our standard programs or select from a list of additional topics that can be used to design custom programs. Many of our programs are correlated to state and national science standards.

Whether for a half-day (up to 3 hours), a full day (up to 6 hours), or multi-days, our programs provide innovative, experiential education for students of all ages. Environment-based education increases student achievement in science, mathematics, and reading. It also improves student motivation, lifelong learning skills, career preparation, and attitudes of respect and responsibility.
