Weather
Whether there's wind, rain, sunshine or snow, we will be outside!! Campbell Tract is often 10o-30o below the official Anchorage temperature in the winter. As a result, being dressed in the appropriate attire will enhance your personal comfort and safety as well as that of your students. It will also ensure a positive experience. For more information refer to our clothing checklist. Please make sure this checklist is available to everyone in your group including chaperones and students.

Group Size
For educational and safety reasons we limit group size to 15 students per science center instructor. Before arriving at the center please divide your group into subgroups of no more than 15 students.

Chaperones
There will need to be at least one chaperone (teacher, parent, or other adult) for each subgroup of 15 students. Additional chaperones beyond this number is highly encouraged. There is no fee for teachers, parents, or chaperones because of the vital role they play in the science center experience.
