  • The following is a release by the United States Geological Survey, National Earthquake Information Center: An earthquake occurred about 205 km (125 miles) WSW of HAGATNA, Guam or about 405 km (250 miles) SW of SAIPAN, Northern Mariana Islands at 3:51 PM MDT, May 9, 2008 (May 10 at 7:51 AM local time in Guam). The magnitude and location may be revised when additional data and further analysis results are available. There have been no reports of damage.
