Equestrian Trails at Granger Lake

**Note** All trails are located in Wildlife Management Areas. These areas are closed to all activites during Texas Parks and Wildlife draw hunts. Check closure dates on the hunting page.

There is a $4.00 day use fee (per vehicle) required to use the horse trails.  Upon entrance to the park you will need to be able to provide coggins information (accession number and date blood drawn) on your horses.  The gate attendant will have a clipboard at the gate house at the entrance of the park.  They will also have a map of the area with trail rules and a survey.   If there is no one in the gate house (opens at 10 am ) when you arrive, you will need to stop on the way out and pay the day use fee and fill out the coggins information.

Camping is permitted in the designated area at the start of the horse trail.  Please keep trailers in one general area so that those who want to camp can get set up. Horses are not allowed at the developed (water & electric) campsites. All horses when not on the trail must remain in the designated equestrain area.
