The Academia Historica houses the national government archive of Taiwan. Several useful databases are offered on the website, such as a database for important historical events of the R.O.C. government, oral history projects, a biographical database, and a database for the early republican period. The digital national archive project is currently under construction. But a test version is available on the website.

The National Central Library in Taiwan collects and maintains domestic publications in various formats such as books, periodicals. It maintains the national online union catalog for books, periodicals as well as newspapers. In addition, it is also the Taiwan government publication depository library. The library houses rich materials on Chinese studies as well as Taiwanese studies and offers access to many useful databases.
