Welcome, teachers, recreation leaders, and other educators! You can help save our trees from the Asian longhorned beetle. By using the Beetle Busters Classroom/Summer Kits and online reporting forms in this section, you will empower your students to play a central role in saving the trees in their community — one field survey at a time.

Beetle Busters Classroom Kit
This standards-based program helps you meet learning goals in science, social science, and language arts and offers your students the opportunity to make a positive difference in their own city! Students (grades 4 -10) will read about the ALB's impact on Chicago's trees, learn to conduct beetle surveys and report their findings, and then create their own outreach campaigns.
