Pandemic Influenza Plan Hearing

The House Appropriations Subcommittee on Labor, HHS, and Education (Representative Ralph Regula, [R-OH], Chairman) held a hearing on the HHS budget request for the President’s Pandemic Influenza Plan. Michael Leavitt, Secretary of HHS, was accompanied by Drs. Anthony Fauci, Director, NIAID; Julie Gerberding, Director, CDC; Bruce Gellin, Director, National Vaccine Program Office; and William Raub, Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary for Public Health Preparedness.
