Protective Force
Protective force programs
are designed to protect DOE security interests (special nuclear material
and classified matter) from theft and sabotage, and to protect DOE employees, contractors, facilities
and the public from hostile acts. DOE protective forces are made up of armed
and unarmed personnel. The key elements of this topical area are management,
equipment and facilities, duties, and training.
