This site houses a growing library of information for patients taking part in clinical studies at the National Institutes of Heath. It is produced by the Clinical Center to complement clinical investigations conducted by the Institutes. This information is relevant for patients, their families and friends, and their care givers. This information is selected specifically for patients participating in clinical research protocols at the NIH Clinical Center at the National Institutes of Health. It is not necessarily applicable to individuals who are patients elsewhere.
