The Women's Imaging Center
The Women's Imaging Center is a part of the Diagnostic Radiology Service within the Department of Radiology. Our mammography services are certified by the American College of Radiology and the Food and Drug Administration.
Our staff is specifically trained in the area of mammography and women's imaging. Our team consists of board certified and highly experienced radiologists, registered mammography technologists and registered nurses. We will guide you through your appointment, introduce you to our patient education office, and schedule your next appointment. We take pride in offering you the finest in imaging and health care services coupled with personal and corteous attention. Our center provides rooms specifically designed for your privacy.
On average your exam should take approximately 30 minutes. During this time, if you choose, you will have the opportunity to speak with the radiologist about your examination. During a diagnostic examination, all additional images will be performed during your scheduled appointment. Screening mammogram patients will have their exam interpreted on the same day.
