Information About District Offices Without Websites


Executive Office
The Commander and Executive Office staff provide strategic direction, command and control for the Louisville Engineer District in execution of assigned missions. The Value Engineer, Emergency Manager, Security Manager, Deputy for Small Business, Director of Quality, and Workforce Development Specialist all report directly to the Executive Office. The Emergency Operations Center (EOC), managed by the Emergency Manager, provides command, control and communications for all district emergency and security activities.

Information Management Office
The Information Management Office provides the District with telecommunications, computer automation, audiovisual support, technical library support, information assurance, records management, publications, mail services and printing support.

Internal Review Office
The Internal Review Office provides the Commander and staff with a professional internal analysis capability. This includes independent, timely and reliable information and advice that evaluates risk, assesses management controls, improves quality, economy, efficiency, and fosters stewardship. Our services include troubleshooting, problem solving, consulting and advisory services, audit liaison and follow-up.

Logistics Management Office
The Logistics Management Office supports the Louisville District by providing the facilities, supplies and property, and travel and transportation services necessary to perform missions of the Corps of Engineers.

Real Estate Division
Real Estate Division provides the complete range of realty services to support both military and civil customers in the acquisition, management and disposal of real estate. This includes locating real estate for the federal government, disposing of excess real estate and finding facilities for lease for government agencies such as recruiting offices for the Army. The Real Estate division also works with the public in setting up easements for government projects. In addition to servicing those customers within the District boundaries, Real Estate Division provides national real estate support to Army Reserve programs.

Resource Management Office
The Resource Management Office supports the Louisville District by managing financial operations to include receipt, distribution, administrative control and accounting of program funds; accounting analysis; coordination, development and administration of operating budgets and Plant Replacement and Improvement Program; management controls; capital asset management; revolving fund management; organization structure and work process reviews; command and organizational performance reviews and evaluation; manpower requirement documentation and utilization tracking; competitive sourcing program; external customer and employee climate survey administration and reporting; USACE Campaign Plan implementation and District Operations Plan management; and general administrative management and organizational requirements for the District.

Safety and Occupational Health Office
The Safety and Occupational Health Office provides safety and occupational health oversite for the Commander and employees of the District. This oversite includes such programs as medical surveillance; worksite analysis; hazard prevention; activity hazards analysis; risk assesment; diving; occupational health unit; wellness fitness center; industrial hygiene; and the promotion of safety and health. Our Safety and Occupational Health Programs involve every employee of the District, our contractors and the visiting public, instilling a safety culture that reduces accidents.
