Program Overview

Open and free to any MDA-funded researcher, the MDA Technology Applications program is a multifaceted government-sponsored effort to assist researchers at various stages of technology development by offering three types of services.

One is the Business Focus Workshop, which helps small businesses with early-stage research to evaluate how their technology effort relates to their overall business strategy and teaches them how to present their ideas to potential investors.

The second is the Technology Applications Review, which provides a mock "Board of Directors" to offer expert feedback to participating MDA-funded researchers who have already developed a technology prototype and are ready to begin the process of commercialization.

The third service, Outreach, publishes information - in hardcopy and on its Web sites - to raise awareness of MDA-funded technologies.

An informational multimedia presentation describing these services in greater detail is available on CD or DVD. To receive your free copy, call (703) 518-8800, extension 239, or send an e-mail to techapps@nttc.edu. Please provide your name, company name, and telephone number as well as your mailing and e-mail addresses. Additionally, please indicate whether you would like to receive the CD or DVD version.
