Intermediate scale surface management status maps (1:100,000) are published by the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) for use in management of the public lands. The Surface Management maps also portray public lands management by the Bureau of Land Management; other Federal lands including those of the U.S. Forest Service, National Park Service, Fish and Wildlife Service and other State lands and private lands. Restrictions in the management of federal lands established by withdrawals also are shown.
