Patients are seen in the Pediatric Clinic by appointment only. Same day acute appointments are booked no more than 24 hours in advance. Appointment cancellations should be done at least 24 hours in advance.
What about Well Baby exams?
Well baby exams are provided for infants at 2 weeks and 2, 4, 6, 12, and 18 months. Immunizations and lab work are accomplished after each visit. If you have other children, please make arrangements to have them taken care of in order to avoid possible exposure to illness.
How do I make an appointment?
Patients enrolled to the 10th MDG, Pediatrics Clinic can call the Colorado Springs Area Military Healthcare Access to Care appointment line at 457-2273, Monday through Friday from 6:00 am - 5:30 p.m. Throat cultures are done on a walk-in basis Monday - Friday from 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Telephone consults will be accomplished by calling the appointment line (458-2273) and selecting the options to contact the Pediatric Clinic directly. However, calls may take up to 72 hours to be returned. If you feel your problem is emergent and cannot wait 72 hours, please take the child to the nearest emergency room.
Upon Checkin:
Upon checking in, all Pediatric Clinic patients must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian (grandparent, sibling, or friend over 18 years) who has a medical power of attorney for every visit.
