Event Details:
San Francisco Bay Area's annual week-long celebration honoring the men and women of the armed forces and recognizing the rich Naval tradition in the Bay area. In 2008 the event will celebrate the 100th anniversary of President Roosevelt's 'Great White Fleet' visiting San Francisco in 1908. The Fleet Week Air Show provides a venue for promoting community relations and recruiting. Visiting sailors participate in various community rebuilding projects.
