Whether to use decimal or hexadecimal NCR's depend upon the tool used to generate the NCR. It might be difficult to produce hexadecimal NCR in some tools sets. Since the conversion is trivial on the digest side, there is no compelling reason not to support both. Tuesday, October 4, 2005 If conversion it trivial why not always use hex and let those who want decimal notation do the trivial conversion? Won't they have to do the non-trivial conversion from the NCR to something they can use anyway? Jim Agenbroad ( [log in to unmask] )
