Accelerating Peace in Mindanao

Cover of Newsbreak Magazine

USIP supported a recently released special issue of the highly regarded Philippines news magazine, Newsbreak, on the peace talks between the Philippine government and the Moro Islamic Liberation Front in Mindanao. The two parties have just reached a consensus on underlying causes of the thirty-year conflict and have begun a public advocacy drive to broaden public understanding and support for peace.

Newsbreak has allowed USIP to republish several of its articles here.
