Hurricane Ike

Post-Storm Oblique Aerial Photography

Oblique aerial photography and video of the region of landfall were collected on September 15, 2008, to document the coastal response to Hurricane Ike.

Continuous photography from Oak Grove, LA to Quintana, TX is available below in zipped KML format, viewable with Google Earth. These images provide an immediate look at the impacts of the hurricane and supplement the pre and post-storm photo and lidar comparisons.

All USGS products are in the public domain. Users may download them without copyright restrictions. If displaying or reproducing the images, please credit the USGS.
