| Foreign Volunteer Information428.21 CitizenshipVolunteers need not be citizens of the United States; however, they should be citizens of allied countries. The International Programs Division provides leadership in coordinating all matters with foreign countries. All requests from foreign visitors who desire to be Earth Team Volunteers must be forwarded to the International Programs Division. The International Programs Division will review each request to determine if it is appropriate for NRCS to accept the application. All International visitors will be asked to provide the following information to the International Programs Division:
If accepted, projects will be developed and tailored to the needs, capabilities and desires of the visitor. Once approval has been received from the International Programs Division, enrollment requirements are the same for citizens and non-citizens.
