Diabetes Hearing

The Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee (Susan Collins [R-ME], Chairman) held a hearing entitled, “Juvenile Diabetes - Examining the Personal Toll on Families, Financial Costs to the Federal Health Care System, and Research Progress Towards a Cure.” This hearing was held in conjunction with the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation’s Children’s Congress. Dr. Allen Spiegel, Director, NIDDK, testified.
