Stem Cell Hearing

The Senate Appropriations Subcommittee on Labor, Health and Human Services, and Education (Senator Arlen Specter [R-PA], Chairman) held a hearing on stem cell research. The hearing focused on legislation introduced by Senators Rick Santorum (R-PA) and Specter to authorize methods of deriving pluripotent stem cells without using human embryos.
