Software Working Group

The Software Working Group's vision is to work in tandem with the National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA) to address the top software-related challenges facing the Defense Acquisition Community today with an emphasis on the following focused activities:

• Software Acquisition Management
• Knowledge Sharing
• Human Capital
• Software Development
• Software Data and Metrics
• Software Engineering and Systems Engineering Integration

The Software Working Group consists of Government-only representatives of the Chief Engineers from each of the components. It reviews and prioritizes software-related initiatives, using the NDIA as a vetting vehicle for industry views, as well as the SSE Forum for guidance with an objective of integrating across each of the above focused activities.
