Eagle Lake BLM Invites Public Comments on OHV Grant Application
The Bureau of Land Management's Eagle Lake Field Office invites public comments on its draft grant application to the state of California's Off Highway Motorized Vehicle Recreation (OHMVR) Division.
The field office is requesting approximately $143,000 to be used for trail maintenance, law enforcement, natural resource conservation and operations and maintenance of off-highway vehicle areas. Funds would be used in fiscal year 2007, which begins in October 2006.
Comments should be sent to Bureau of Land Management, 2950 Riverside Dr., Susanville, CA 96130, Attention: OHV grants. Comments must be received by Friday, July 21 to be included with the grant request to the OHMVR Division. Late comments will be forwarded to the division separately.
