Lieutenant colonels and up have until Oct. 22 to register for the 2007 Combatant Commanders Workshop, “Rapid Technical Support for the Warfighter,” going Oct. 29-30 in Suffolk, Va.
The Defense Technical Information Center’s workshop, held at the Lighthouse, Center for Innovation, 8000 Harbour View Blvd., is designed to improve departmentwide awareness of technology information.
There are no registration fees; however, attendees are responsible for travel and lodging costs. Military attendees will wear the service B uniform.
DTIC provides scientific and technical information for the Department of Defense.
John J. Young Jr., acting undersecretary for acquisition, technology and logistics, and R. Paul Ryan, DTIC administrator, will host the workshop.
