No Fatalities From Marine Helicopter mishap in Jordan 

An AH-1W Super Cobra helicopter from the 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit was involved in a mishap in Jordan during a scheduled bilateral training exercise with Jordanian armed forces.

The two pilots in the aircraft were treated for injuries at the scene and transported to medical facilities in Amman for further treatment and evaluation. Both injured crew members were stable at the time of this report.

The aircraft, from Marine Medium Helicopter Squadron - 264 (Reinforced), was participating in exercise Infinite Moonlight, an annual exercise between U.S. and Jordanian forces.

The cause of the accident is under investigation.
