Appointing and Referrals:

Call WRAMC Central Appointments at 1-800-433-3574 or 202-782-7761 to schedule care here. Prime patients who have been referred to a WRAMC specialty clinic are asked to call after two business days after the referral is made. A clerk either schedules the patient at WRAMC or another area military facility, or forwards the referral to the TRICARE contractor. The contractor coordinates care with a civilian network provider and notifies the patient by mail who to call. The patient may also call Health Net if ten days have passed since the referral was made, 1-877-TRICARE.

Our Beneficiary focused staff in Central Appointments quickly and courteously handle incoming calls. While the average time to answer a call in 2002 was under 15 seconds, beneficiaries who call during a particularly busy time also have the option of leaving a voice message. The appointing staff usually return those messages within 1-2 minutes, always within 20 minutes."
When the patient calls the appointment line (800-433-3574/202-782-7761) we can assist them with booking the following appointment types: New, and Follow up.
We book these appointment types for Primary Care and Specialty Care clinics.
Central Appointments Section hours of operation (M-F 6am-6pm), this excludes Federal Holidays.
